David is amazing! I can finally leave the house knowing that my cockatiel is in loving hands. David took wonderful care of Pepper and sent pics and updates regularly while I was out. I know Pepper felt very comfortable in David's company because he took a nice long nap! I am truly grateful to have found such a reliable resource for Pepper's needs.

David is a lifesaver! He's responsive, responsible, and great with birds -- even feisty ones, like my conure Mordecai, who grew even more cantankerous after being cooped up with minimal outside socialization during the pandemic. David is patient, calming, and despite Mordecai's best efforts to the contrary, won him over.
It's also incredibly useful that David comes to my home -- until using his services, I hadn't realized how draining it was to operate within narrow business hours pick-up and drop-offs at the vet. When you're getting ready to travel, extra logistics is the last thing you or your bird needs!

I boarded my Meyers Parrot with David for about 10 days and he was great. He updated me regularly with how my bird was doing and was accommodating in any way needed. My parrot was quite happy while I was away and I couldn't ask for anything more with care for my bird while I was away overseas. Great to know my best bird friend has a great place to be if I ever need to go away. 5 huge stars.

David is wonderful. He cared for our Dusky for several days. It's difficult to find someone who truly knows parrots and can care for them. A few days before we left for our trip, David came over to meet Eleanor and get acquainted. He spent 7-8 hours each day with Eleanor, working from our home. He sent pictures throughout the day, reassuring us she was doing well and enjoying her time with him. Such a good experience. We will definitely be using his services again!

20/10 recommend David for your perches! My mom (who has an Amazon parrot) and I met David at the Joliet bird fair last month. He was so kind and personable, and the prices and quality of his perches are fantastic too. I just got a quaker parrot last week, so I went back to the bird fair today to buy two perches from David. Again, he was so kind and great to talk to! I haven’t used David for pet care, but it is very apparent to me that he loves his animals and would take great care of yours. I’ll definitely be buying more perches from David when needed in the future!

Wow, we can’t say enough good things about David. We left our Cockatiel “Goose” with David for 2 weeks, and he was amazingly attentive and loving! He always Checked in with us with questions, and sent oodles of pictures! Goose was treated so well, and felt so at home with David, we made sure we got him on the books for a long trip we are taking this fall! I highly recommend!
